Gresham-Barlow Youth Baseball/Softball Association

Gresham Barlow Youth Baseball/Softball, teaches the basic skills and fundamentals of baseball & softball to aspiring athletes within the community. We value the process of building a foundation by instilling determination, courage and teamwork from TeeBall to High School players. We are a volunteer organization sharing our common passion of youth sports and community.

IMPORTANT DATES 2024

All events are league-wide (Baseball & Softball, all ages) unless specified otherwise.

  • Feb 15th - Registration Closes
  • Feb 17th - GB Select and Minors Evaluations (GB Select Check-in at 3:30PM; Minors Check-in at 5:00pm) at Gresham High School (GB Select and Minors athletes, GB Select and Minors Coaches only)
  • Week of Feb 26th - Rosters Released (Coaches only)
  • Mar 1st - Parent Meeting (Kids welcome, but no childcare or separate area) at 6-8pm at Mountainview Christian Church
  • Mar 2nd starting at 8am- Coaches Meeting (Baseball Coaches only - see google calendar link for times and zoom links) 
  • Mar 1st-3rd - Dick's Sporting Goods Weekend
  • Mar 4th at 7pm - Coaches Meeting (Softball Coaches only - see google calendar link for zoom link)
  • Week of Mar 4th - Practice Starts
  • Mar 9th -
    • Field Day at 9am-noon (Field Assignments TBD)
    • Baseball Coaching Clinic at Gresham High School (run by Gresham High School coaching staff) (Coaches only) 12-1:30pm
    • Softball Coaching Clinic at Barlow High School (run by Barlow High School coaching staff) (Coaches only) - 1pm
  • Mar 16th - Field Day at 9am-noon (Field Assignments TBD)
  • Apr 5th - Opening Ceremonies
  • Apr 6th - First Day of Baseball Games
  • Week of Apr 22nd - First Day of Softball Games
  • Apr 27th - Team Picture Day
  • May 25th-27th - Memorial Day Tournament at Main City Park (Minors and Majors)
